You know how they say you should always keep cases of water and batteries for flashlights and stuff, in case of blackouts? And non-perishable foods, in case you're snowed in and can't get outside?

Fuck, I really wish I listened to them right now.

I think I'm okay for now, though. I have, um...soda. And boxes of cereal. And...crap. Maybe I should go to the store, before it gets too bad. It's not--I think I can handle it now. Atleast, I mean, it's worse in the city, I hear. Those...things...are everywhere. I've heard reports of them coming over the bridge, but I haven't really seen any yet. Maybe it's not nearly as bad everyone thinks?

Yeah. Right.

I'm going to the store. I'm gonna risk it, I can do this, I just need to find my baseball bat, and my wallet, and then I'll go.

How come there are never any books or movies that mix fantasy with scifi?

How come the elves don't rise up and help humans drive off the alien invasion? Why don't we ever know how the brownies feel about space travel? Why don't we ever discover if a vampire could drink the blood of martians--if indeed they even have blood?

Maybe the fae are really the descendants of a long lost alien race that crashed on our planet when it was still young.

It would be so wonderfully cracky.

Finally changed my layout header from Isaac Mendez after glaring at it for going on two weeks now. Maybe I'll put it back up when the sight of him no longer pisses me off.

Or maybe not, since I'm awfully fond of this one.

In it's place is, IMHO, a pretty Life On Mars header, with the main three: Sam, Annie and the Gene-Genie. Filled with love for that show lately, though I've been spazzing waiting for another ep to come out. Vaguely considering making header into a wallpaper, since I think it will transfer over better than most of my graphics. Eh. I'll figure that out later.

This is quite possibly the best and most awesome thing ever.
